17GW456 Richthofen being dressed by attendants for a sortie, much in the manner of medieval knights of old. Because of the fur boots this picture is sometimes captioned as being the Red Baron about to take off on his last fligt, 21 April 1918; however the aircraft appears to be a biplane rather then a triplane of the type in which he was killed.
